Built By Wendy has been my favorite clothing line for a long time. Recently she has been getting more press and popularity with her new book and a store in LA (she has like 3 in NY). Her design is very innovative and seems to be really original and doesn't really remind me of anything else. Her textiles and patterns are new and not a copycat or similar to other designers (in my opinion). I just saw the shirt below recently on Digital Gravel that is strikingly similar to one she did like 3 years ago. I can't find the picture on the internet but I'll take a pic of the Built By Wendy one later and post. I have one at home. They are both really cool. Just thought it helped demonstrate how I believe she is in a field of her own. She also has a pretty cool logo too.
