Journey through sound

So I'm not really sure what this is. I'm sure anyone is but it sounds worth trying it. It's called Audium and its in SF. From what I read, its like this "experiment" or "experience" with/through sound. You sit is this trippy room as you, I'm guessing, you see and mainly hear sounds in a special room and actually feel the sounds. Sounds like a hit or miss but worth discovering. Here's some yelp comments:

"This almost looks like an experiment. it's hard to explain the experience but it's pretty awesome. of course you would only find a place like this in San Francisco. it's been around since the 60's so you still get that retro feel. 2001: A Space Odyssey-esque. i totally dig it. "

"As for the experience... well, the music was clearly of the ambient random noises variety, but the experience of listening to it was crazy. I mean, when you hear theaters and things talk about "surround sound" they're really only talking about 5 speakers. And yeah, that's enough to feel like you're basically surrounded, but when there's well over 100 speakers around you, "surround" has a whole new meaning. Since you're sitting in the dark, it's hard to get a handle on the space, it gets disorienting, in a really cool way. You start to lose touch with where things are coming from."

ha ha

The Radiohead vs Miley saga continues.

I'm like, these are the people I really want to meet," she said. "I'd freak out. They're my rock gods. These are the only people that I would cry over…My manager asked and said, 'Miley's really obsessed. And they were like, 'We don't really do that.' "

"I left 'cause I was so upset," she said. "I wasn't going to watch. Stinkin' Radiohead! I'm gonna ruin them, I'm going to tell everyone."

The three-time Grammy winners responded by putting the teen in her place…

"When Miley grows up, she'll learn not to have such a sense of entitlement," the quintet said in a statement.

But the Radiohead beef buck doesn't stop there.

During the taping for his episode of VH1's Storytellers, West complained that Yorke snubbed him as well.

"When he performed at the Grammys, I sat the f--k down," the rapper said.

The British "Creep" singer, already in full retaliation mode, concluded a blog post on the band's website with a wink and a nudge to both stars. "Wish us all a safe journey if you still like us and you're not one of those people I have managed to offend by doing nothing," Yorke writes.

eye for an eye right?

after/before

"This one is out of Montana - a 38 year old guy named Earl was arrested for beating up his girlfriend. The girl went running to her ex boyfriend, Kenneth, and told him what happened. Kenneth went over to Earls place, and beat the LIVING CRAP OUT OF HIM. This rules."

Hooo-RA

Last night as I watched the results of the presidential election, tears streamed down my face as I stood in aww holding our 1 year old daughter. It's a new day. So many thoughts ran through my mind. So many newscasts and coverage of the election kept saying its not about race and kept discussing how he won. For me its simple, he represents us. America and all its diversity. As a daughter of an immigrant mother and my father's mother, my grandmother, who was in America and went back to China because their was nothing to offer her only to come back. And her mother (my great-grandmother) who came to America and was held in internment camps at Angel Island just for the color of her skin. This truly means a lot to me and that my daughter will grow up knowing she can do anything she wants.

Now this is not to say I don't also back the issues Obama says he addressed such as healthcare and more importantly, to me, education and childcare. Man, I can go on and on. Yesterday was truly the most important day of my life right next to the birth of my child. I can honestly say I am proud to be American and feel a sense of pride I have never felt before.

Never too greedy.

Roommate keeps drinking all your beer. Those leftovers you've been thinking about all day gone. Oh hell nah! You need this flatshare fridge...
